What’s In The Box Of The Cosori Air Fryer Pro 2
Upon opening, I was confronted with a large air fryer packed with cushioning material to avoid any damage during transit.
A sleek and attractive air fryer emerges after removing all the coverings and protective coatings.
The matt black finish makes it Luxe and chic.
Besides the air fryer, the box contains a recipe booklet introducing you to a range of cooking ideas for wooing your loved ones.
How Much Does Cosori Pro II Weigh?
This kitchen appliance weighs around 12 pounds and feels a bit bulky.
I recommend you clear some space for this unit on the countertop.
Luckily, its low profile allows it to easily fit under the kitchen cabinets.
What Makes It Better Than Its Predecessor?
Cosori Pro 2 is the company's newest release after the Cosori CP158-AF, which I have used before.
So, a logical question is, what makes the two air fryers different?
The Cosori CP158-Af and Cosori Pro 2 have the same cooking presets and capacity; the difference lies in the shape and design.
Cosori Pro 2, also known as the CP358-AF Pro, has a thoughtfully designed display.
It is angled upwards and towards you to allow a better view of the display.
Its exterior is also a bit bulkier, which, on the bright side, gives strength to the unit.
The new Cosori also has a customizable shake reminder that lets you decide when to shake the food cooking in the basket.
Its shiny display contains buttons for 13 touchscreen cooking functions and other options such as shake reminder, preheat, pause/start, etc.
The basket is non-stick, and its handle has a button. Pushing it allows you to slide the basket out of its chamber.
How Spacious Is The Cosori Pro II Air Fryer?
When it comes to using an air fryer, the biggest complaint people have is the amount of food its basket can accommodate.
Most air fryers take ages to cook sufficient French Fries, making it a frustrating experience.
But I had no such complaint with the Cosori Pro 2.
Its square-shaped basket is very spacious and can cook enough food to serve 3-4 people together.
Ease Of Using Cosori Pro II Air Fryer
Using the air fryer requires no practice.
You get consistently good results provided that your cook settings are accurate.
Select the preset according to the food you want to cook.
The best thing is you can customize the preset to suit your cooking needs.
The shake reminder feature is also customizable, allowing you to decide when to shake the food.
Furthermore, it takes much less time to preheat and start cooking than an oven.
It is also a more energy-efficient air fryer, consuming almost half the electricity of a standard oven.
Cosori also has an auto-shutoff feature that activates when removing the air fryer basket, allowing you to check the food without fiddling with controls to pause the unit.
Cosori Pro Air Fryer Cooking Test Results
To check the cooking performance of Cosori Pro 2, I decided to make Brussels sprouts.
The air fryer’s square basket was able to accommodate a good amount. The cooked Brussels sprouts were nicely golden browned with crunchy edges.
Next, I made breaded chicken thighs. The exterior was crunchy, very close to those cooked in a deep fryer, but with much less oil.
Testing an air fryer is incomplete without making French fries.
After soaking the potato sticks in cold water for about one and a half hours, staining, and pat drying, I added them to the non-stick air fryer basket.
At 375F, the air fryer took 13 minutes to cook one batch of crispy and soft fries.

FAQs
What is the difference between Cosori Pro 1 and Pro 2?
Cosori 2 is the upgraded version of Cosori 1. It comes with improvements such as customizable presets, a customizable shake reminder, and better technology, reducing cooking time. It is also free from catching fire and melting issues that were reported in the previous model.
Which is better Ninja or Cosori air fryer?
I have tested various models of both Cosori and Ninja air fryers and finally reached the conclusion that Cosori offers more color options than Ninja. But Ninja has more size options (starting from 2 QT) than Cosori (starting from 4qt).
Most Cosori air fryers come with smart options like Wi-Fi connectivity. In contrast, Ninja air fryers are not as smart and home-friendly. While both air fryers offer exceptional cooking results, overall, Cosori air fryers are more affordable and smart and come with more useful accessories.
Can I use aluminum foil in the Cosori Pro II?
Yes, there is no harm in using aluminum foil in the Cosori Pro 2. However, make sure to put food items on it to weigh it down, preventing it from taking flight and reaching the heating element during cooking.
Is preheating the Cosori Pro II necessary?
Cosori Pro 2 has a dedicated Preheat button. However, preheating is unnecessary unless you cook certain foods that cook better in a preheated air fryer.
Cosori Pro 2 Or Traditional Oven, Which One To Prefer?
This air fryer is a great cooking appliance. However, like any air fryer out there, it cannot completely replace a traditional oven. Nothing beats this air fryer for making daily meals and evening snacks. But I still like using the oven more when it comes to large sheet pan recipes.
Wrapping Up!
Buying this Cosori air fryer requires you to spend some dollars. If compared to a deep fryer, you might find the Cosori Pro II a little expensive. But then, with a deep fryer, you won’t get the added benefit of cooking healthier food or other cooking functions like baking and toasting. Cosori Pro 2 is a Teflon-free air fryer, which makes it one of the safest air fryers and worth buying.
