- 2 cups fresh edamame or frozen
- 1 tablespoon olive or avocado oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
If using frozen edamame, rinse under cold water to thaw slightly and pat dry. Fresh edamame can be used directly.
Place the edamame in a bowl. Add olive or avocado oil, garlic powder, and salt. Toss well to coat evenly.
Spread the edamame in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Check for doneness. The pods should be slightly blistered and warmed through. Cook an additional 1–2 minutes if needed.
Remove and serve warm.
- Dry the edamame well before cooking to avoid soggy results.
- Don’t overcrowd the basket this is key for getting that lightly roasted texture.
- Add chili flakes or a squeeze of lemon after cooking for extra flavor
