Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 20 ounces Frozen hash browns
  • 2.5 teaspoons Olive oil
  • To taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Place the frozen hash browns in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss until the potatoes are lightly coated.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste. Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
  • Spread the hash browns in the air fryer basket in an even layer. Avoid packing them down too tightly so the hot air can circulate.
  • Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 15 minutes.
  • Open the basket and shake or stir the hash browns well.
  • Continue air frying at 380°F (193°C) for 2 to 3 more minutes, or until the hash browns are golden brown and crispy to your liking.
  • Remove from the basket and serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

  • Do not thaw the hash browns. Cook straight from frozen for best texture.
  • Spread them evenly; overcrowding leads to steaming instead of crisping.
  • For extra crispiness, add 2–3 more minutes at the end and avoid stacking.
