- 20 ounces Frozen hash browns
- 2.5 teaspoons Olive oil
- To taste salt and pepper
Place the frozen hash browns in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss until the potatoes are lightly coated.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
Spread the hash browns in the air fryer basket in an even layer. Avoid packing them down too tightly so the hot air can circulate.
Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 15 minutes.
Open the basket and shake or stir the hash browns well.
Continue air frying at 380°F (193°C) for 2 to 3 more minutes, or until the hash browns are golden brown and crispy to your liking.
Remove from the basket and serve immediately while hot and crispy.
- Do not thaw the hash browns. Cook straight from frozen for best texture.
- Spread them evenly; overcrowding leads to steaming instead of crisping.
- For extra crispiness, add 2–3 more minutes at the end and avoid stacking.
