Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 10 medium Jalapeños
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 slices bacon

Instructions

  • Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise. Remove seeds and membranes for less heat.
  • In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar until smooth and well combined.
  • Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture. Press it in slightly so it stays in place.
  • Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2 minutes.
  • Place the poppers in the basket in a single layer, leaving space between each one.
  • Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes, then flip.
  • Continue cooking at 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 more minutes, until the bacon is crispy and the filling is heated through.
  • Remove carefully and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid skin irritation.
  • Don’t overfill, or the cheese may spill out during cooking.
  • For extra crisp bacon, choose thin-cut slices they cook more evenly in the air fryer.
